Edmonton weather: An indecisive forecast of clouds, wind sunlight

A look at Sunday’s weather by Environment Canada.

It’s 11 C as of noon at the Edmonton Blatchford weather station with 31 km/h winds out of the north northwest.

Sunday’s forecast can’t seem to make up its mind!

First it starts with a cloudy sky and 60 per cent chance of showers, before settling on intermittent clouds and winds of 40 km/h and a high of 15 C. The chance of showers will return overnight, with a low of 5 C and winds staying steady at 40 km/h. Monday the sun will shine in the early morning before the clouds return with a high of 14 C, 30 per cent chance of showers, and a risk of late afternoon thunderstorms.

Monday: Sunny early in the morning then a mix of sun and cloud with 30 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon. Risk of a thunderstorm late in the afternoon. High 14 C. UV index 5 or moderate.
